SUMMARY: Manages the enrollment and withdrawal process for District high school students. Responds to student record/transcript requests. Reviews student cumulative folders and enters student’s data into the District’s computer system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the enrollment and withdrawal process for high school students including the processing of record requests from within the district, from other districts and other entities
- Assists with class schedule changes and updates, class rosters and the graduation process
- Provides assistance to teachers and administrative staff
- Ensures compliance with the Uniform System of Financial Records, state statutes and district policies regarding all aspects of student enrollments, withdrawals and student records
- Serves as resource to auditors relating to student records, enrollments, withdrawals and the registration process; provides reports and other information as needed or requested
- Records and logs all changes in the student information system related to student registration; ensures the accuracy and integrity of data entered into student information system
- Processes requests for transcripts and student records and ensures compliance with deadlines for records requests
- Oversees the process of intra-district transfer of records
- Manages and organizes student records archives
- Updates student cumulative folders, ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Performs regular audits of student records to ensure accuracy of data contained within
- Performs general clerical tasks such as writing memos and letters, filing, and translating various department documents; prepares reports, forms, correspondence and certificates
