SUMMARY:  Prepares and serves breakfast and lunch meals to students, prepare reports of servings and performs light cleaning duties in support of the Food Service operations at assigned school.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs meal preparation duties and food service set up, to include counting plates and beverages (daily)
• Serves breakfast and lunch meals to students (daily)
• Prepares daily report of servings and beverages and submit to Cafeteria office
• Clean tables, stoves, refrigerators and kitchen equipment
• Washes and dries dishes and places in storage
• Provides custodial services for a healthy and safe environment by cleaning and maintaining cafeteria
• Sweeps and mops the cafeteria floors daily
• Picks up litter and trash and replaces garbage bags
• Assists with special events as needed
• Assists in the daily clean up and maintenance of the kitchen, service and eating areas, including food preparation equipment
• Performs food cashier duties as needed
• Responds to all related emergency situations per established guidelines
• Receives and answers calls/inquiries from parents and staff
• Reports all repair needs to Maintenance
