SUMMARY: Prepares and serves breakfast and lunch meals to students, prepare reports of servings and performs light cleaning duties in support of the Food Service operations at assigned school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs meal preparation duties and food service set up, to include counting plates and beverages (daily)
- Serves breakfast and lunch meals to students (daily)
- Prepares daily report of servings and beverages and submit to Cafeteria office
- Clean tables, stoves, refrigerators and kitchen equipment
- Washes and dries dishes and places in storage
- Provides custodial services for a healthy and safe environment by cleaning and maintaining cafeteria
- Sweeps and mops the cafeteria floors daily
- Picks up litter and trash and replaces garbage bags
- Assists with special events as needed
- Assists in the daily clean up and maintenance of the kitchen, service and eating areas, including food preparation equipment
- Performs food cashier duties as needed
- Responds to all related emergency situations per established guidelines
- Receives and answers calls/inquiries from parents and staff
- Reports all repair needs to Maintenance
